Computer-Integrated Machining Technology
The computer-integrated machining technology curriculum is designed to prepare you for a career as a machining technician by teaching you skills in the theory and safe use of hand tools, power machinery, computerized equipment, and sophisticated precision inspection instruments.
What You Will Learn
You will learn to interpret blueprints, to set up manual and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, to perform basic and advanced machining operations, and to make decisions to ensure that work quality is maintained. The computer-integrated machining program also provides you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills in CNC programming, and gain a broader knowledge in CNC graphics programming. All projects are performed on full-scale equipment used in local industry.
