Requirements

To Stay in the Program While at Central Piedmont
- Enroll in a full course load each semester (registration policies).
- Keep at least a 2.0 GPA (required to be admitted to Johnson C. Smith).
- Stay in good standing (academic and otherwise) while at Central Piedmont.

For Guaranteed Admissions to Transfer to Johnson C. Smith University
The semester immediately before the term you want to start at Johnson C. Smith:
- finish an eligible program at Central Piedmont
- apply to Johnson C. Smith University
For example, if you want to start at Johnson C. Smith in the spring, you'd need to complete your Central Piedmont program in the fall.

To Keep the $8,000 JCSU Connect Scholarship While at Johnson C. Smith
To keep the $8,000 renewable scholarship for two years while at Johnson C. Smith, you'll need to:
- keep at least a 3.0 GPA per semester
- attend two Career Services workshops each semester
- take at least 15 credit hours per semester
